PIREPlus High output infrared emitter with integrated drive electronics
The PIREplus consists of a fast pulsed infrared emitter and the associated drive electronics module. The components have been designed as a system to provide maximum output over a range of pulsing speeds. The PIRE emitter has been designed to optimize both heat-up and cool-down performance of the filament, producing typical pulsing speeds of180Hz at 50% modulation depth. The associated drive electronics are matched to the emitter to provide the optimal drive waveform over a range of frequencies and ensure peak output temperatures at all frequencies. Together these components provide the customer with a convenient source of pulsed infrared energy that can be used to improve the performance of infrared detection systems.
