Specifically designed and
manufactured for a number of non-dispersive IR gas analyzer applications,
multi-color coplanar detector assemblies are an attractive design alternative
for systems operating in multiple IR wavelengths or with space constraints
in the detector focal plane area.
Cal Sensors multi-color coplanar detector
assemblies typically consist of two or more customer specified spectral filters mounted
in a filter holder that minimizes optical crosstalk
between channels. The filter holder assembly is coupled to the corresponding number of PbS and/or PbSe
detectors which are mounted side by side on either the package header (uncooled)
or TE cooler cold plate (for cooled detectors).
